Cats and dogs

A pet will be a family member it requires loads of attention, exercise, food, training and veterinary care. So it is imperial to do your own research about the breeder and  breed you want to buy, to ensure it fits to your life style and you can afford to support their needs.

So, let’s see if you are ready for this great adventure, by answering a few questions?

  1. Why do you want a pet?

Make sure your answer is: I’m ready to commit long term into giving them the best life possible

  2. Can you afford to maintain a pet?

Any pet will have some needs: quality food, bed, bowls, toys, interactive games, leads, hardness, collar, training lessons, grooming and veterinary appointments, insurance

What point in your life you are?

  • Do you have a secure job?

  • Are you planning to change jobs in near future?

  • Do you own the place you live in or renting?

  • Are you taking this commitment on your own or there is someone else in your life that will split the responsibility?

  • Do you have enough space in your house?

  • Is this place pet friendly, is this space closed to a park or pet friendly area, or you’ll need to drive to walk you dog daily?

  1. How many hours you work daily and how much time you’ll have to spend with your pet?

Mainly dogs are sociable animals and they like to spent time with their owners. Some cats also love to spend time with their owners when others or not to bother. Rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, may require a partner as they don’t like to live by themself.

Make sure you have all the species/ breed information before you brought it home.

  2. Are you ready to offer your pet all the support he needs to adjust?

First weeks will be very hard for you as an owner, but will be a lot harder for your new family member, so you need to make sure you have all the patience in the world and the time to teach them the essential skill.

As they are separated from their mom and siblings, this time will be very stressful. So they will need a significant amount of comfort and reassurance.

If you require further TIPS in how to help your pet learning the essential skills please CONTACT OUR TEAM.

  3. Do you have other animals in house? What character/ age/ species they are?

  4. Are all the persons in the household agreeing with this?

Please make sure you answer to all this questions as sincere as possible. Postponing to buy a pet sometimes is the most responsible thing we can do if our lives are not there yet. We are here to help you with all the questions you have.
